A working draft, current as of what's actually built — not final legal copy, and not a substitute for a lawyer's review before this site handles real users' data at scale. If anything here stops matching what the site actually does, that's a bug in this page, not a license to assume otherwise.

What's collected

Resonance is invite-only: every account is a Discord login, and there is no email/password signup. You need to be logged in and a current member of the Resonance Discord server to take the test at all, not only to save a result. What's stored per account: your Discord id, username, avatar image hash, whether you're currently a member of the Resonance server, and a few timestamps (first seen, last active, account created). Nothing else identifying — no email, no phone number, no payment details (there's no payment on this site at all).

Test results

A result is only stored if you choose to save it to your account — taking the test doesn't save anything by default just from being logged in. A saved result is always tied to your account and carries a visibility setting: private (only you), link (anyone you hand the exact link to), or profile (listed on your profile for other logged-in members). No visibility level ever shows a saved result to someone who isn't logged in, and there's no public directory or search of members' profiles or results.

If you instead export a standalone snapshot link (/result#r=…), nothing is stored anywhere — the entire result lives inside that link's own URL. It's a copy you chose to hand out, not a record on our side, and it keeps working even after your account is deleted.

Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from your profile — this immediately and permanently removes your account row and every saved result, with no recovery. Separately, a daily automated job removes accounts and results for people who've left the Resonance Discord server or gone inactive for a long time, on a fixed schedule (currently: 90 days after leaving the server; 12 months of inactivity for a member's saved results; 24 months of inactivity for the account itself). These are hard deletes, not a trash folder.

Who operates this

Resonance is made and hosted by Shroomy AD. The site runs on Cloudflare's infrastructure (Pages, D1, KV) and uses Discord for login only — Discord has its own privacy policy governing what it does with your Discord account.
